I have been working on a few different projects lately. But, honestly, most of them have been a little random and just for fun. I guess that isn't really a bad thing though, because it brings me joy! Sometimes I feel kind of guilty for not doing things that are "productive," or for business, or whatever. But what I am really starting to learn and appreciate is just enjoying my time and my chosen activities for what they are. Not everything has to be for something else. It's quite ok to do a task just for the fun of it, even if it doesn't result in anything but putting a smile on your face (which, by the way, is its own reward!). Sometimes, I have to remind myself of one of my grandmother's sayings. She used to say, "Cojelo con take it easy!" This Spanglish phrase is a fun and simple way for me to remember to lighten up a little.
So, what fun task/activity do you enjoy doing but put it off to the side so you can be "productive"? Give yourself time to do something enjoyable!
These tiny little bottles are one of those just for fun things I made. Not sure what I will do with them, but they are so cute!
I made these paper plants and plaster of paris planters from a craft subscription box (KiwiCo). It was so much fun! Plus, I know I can not kill these plants! I am not very good with live plants!
